Let's build stronger communities together.
Help us fulfill our mission to:
INSPIRE the public with programs and exhibits that spotlight architecture’s value to our world
INVEST in the next generation of diverse designers through our seven scholarship and grant programs, and
SERVE the public through Design Assistance Teams that help communities address key challenges such as climate change, housing equity, and revitalization.
This year, we hope to raise $50,000. Help us meet our goal and support our key initiatives:
Scholarship and grant programs that empower a diverse cohort of students and emerging professionals to pursue the path towards becoming an architect.
Communities by Design, a long-standing AIA program with a proven track record of success in facilitating community-led planning and revitalization projects.
The Octagon, our historic headquarters. A Washington, DC, landmark built in 1799, The Octagon was the first home of the AIA in our nation’s capital and remains an integral part of the AIA’s campus as living laboratory for historic preservation, sustainability, and community engagement.
