African American women are hugely underrepresented in architecture--just 0.4 percent, 502 Black women, are licensed architects in the U.S.
We're fundraising to create a scholarship specifically for Black women architecture students through the Architects Foundation Diversity Advancement Scholarship Fund.
Start a fundraiser and share with your network, or donate directly to our cause.
Goal:
$25,000 will fund 1 Diversity Advancement Scholarship for the next 4-5 years
+ $150,000 will fully endow 1 Diversity Advancement Scholarship in perpetuity!
We've met our initial fundraising goals thanks to the generosity of 800 supporters. THANK YOU! You can continue to donate to the fund to support the scholarship.
